TESTIMONIALS
“When I first heard about the graduate program, I thought it was too good to be true. This amazing opportunity where I would be provided with the necessary tools and exposure to promote the success of my career as a software engineer seemed like a dream, and the entire experience has been better than I could imagine.
The initial week of the program was enriched with unforgettable experiences; during that time, I had the pleasure of meeting my fellow graduates, and together, we learned about the building blocks that make up LexisNexis Risk Solutions. We were introduced to an environment that fostered continuous learning and growth through discussions with senior leadership, learned about the diverse and inclusive culture represented by various employee research groups, and learned the impact the work conducted in the office can have on the world with programs like the ADAM™ Program.
Since that first week, I have experienced firsthand the impact these building blocks have had on me as a software engineer. I’ve been able to build connections while participating in charitable events such as donating blood, participating in events hosted by the Employee Resource Group, Women in Technology, to learn about new technologies, and communicating with various members of the organization for help when I’ve needed it, regardless of them being a part of a different team.
I can confidently say that the graduate program has truly changed my life; I’m proud to be a member of the LexisNexis Risk Solutions family because here, what you do matters, and everyone does their best to support one another.”

Our goal is to foster an inclusive culture where employees can comfortably collaborate and communicate in an environment without fear of discrimination, criticism, alienation, and retribution. This fosters an environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work without worrying about negative consequences.
“I think the key highlight was understanding what Data Science is. During my internship, I worked on a geospatial and clustering analysis project. It was challenging at first because no amount of school can prepare you for the applications of real-world problems. The learning curve and understanding of the potential business applications with my project were fascinating to see unfold, too.
My internship at LexisNexis Risk Solutions was valuable because it was my first experience of the "real world."
Their culture made my first internship a core memory because everyone was helpful and kind at the company. I appreciated how approachable people were when I needed help, and it was gratifying to work on interesting projects with this support, too.
Additionally, it was invaluable for me to see how Computer Science truly comes to life in the 'real world' environment, which deepened my passion for the field even more.”

We grow through innovation, and to do this we need talented people working in a culture of belonging and psychological safety. What makes us a great place to work is creating a real sense of belonging where we feel welcomed, connected, and comfortable to be ourselves as we work towards our shared sense of purpose.
“Even though I had previous experience with Angular, I never worked on an application from scratch. During my internship, I got an opportunity to learn how to build an Angular application from scratch.
When I started the internship, my proficiency level with programming was limited. I got to work on various coding tasks and collaborate with experienced developers. This helped me improve my skills even more.
I would recommend LexisNexis Risk Solutions to my peers. I would share my experience of how LexisNexis Risk Solutions prioritizes work-life balance. My team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions has always been supportive and encouraged me to learn new things. Based on my understanding, the software products at this company are top-notch and have prioritized customer satisfaction.
I also appreciate how LexisNexis Risk Solutions constantly evolves and stays ahead of the curve with the latest technology trends.”

Continual education and awareness make us even better at noticing bias and understanding different perspectives. We continue to offer valuable resources such as unconscious bias awareness training, and courageous conversations while offering specialized allyship tracks, employee opinion surveys, mental health awareness programs, and more.
“Getting the chance to meet with many of the higher-ups through lunch and learns to see the company and workflow from a new perspective was a great experience.
This internship was the perfect opening to adapt my learnings from college to real-world applications. It allowed me to learn about new technologies from experienced individuals in a practical setting.
The pottery & painting studio was the first intern event where I got a chance to talk to the other interns in an environment that was less professional and to truly find my footing with them.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions was an incredibly welcoming company with everyone I met willing to take time out of their day to help me and teach me something new.”

Cloud Data Science Intern

Our commitment is focused on fostering the success of each employee and providing the support necessary for them to reach their fullest potential. An integral part of Mark Kelsey's, CEO LexisNexis Risk Solutions, commitment to advancing our strategy is ensuring every employee feels supported and empowered.
“I had to learn how to use SmartView in Excel and learn how
to extract data from our data cubes to build a report for the business. I didn't expect to learn the basics. I enjoyed relearning the simpler things like what my LinkedIn should look like, resume tips, and general career advice that reinforces confidence.
I've become very proficient with the internship program and its benefits.
The highlight of the program has been being able to work with such a great team/company and learn by getting the exposure interns don't typically get in a classroom. The initial audience
of my project is the finance team but it can expand into market planning and sales.
A takeaway is you can't accomplish everything on your own, it's necessary to work with multiple people to get to the result.
The culture at LexisNexis Risk Solutions is team-oriented, innovative, and fair and is very inclusive and supportive of growth.”
-Esmeralda P.
Finance Intern

The business case for maintaining a culture of belonging is incredibly compelling. Organizations that prioritize their people tend to outperform their competitors; they exhibit greater creativity, higher employee engagement, reduced turnover, and faster time-to-market.
“Some of the highlights of the summer internship were being in a great work environment and getting to meet other people who have similar goals as mine. The internship events have helped us to get to know one another and connect with all of the other interns.
Key takeaways include having the opportunity to apply what I've learned in school and applying it to real-life problems. I realized the value of networking, how to build your brand inside and outside the workplace, and the importance of staying organized.
I had to learn how to use PowerBI, but I love it. I never used PowerBI before, but I was able to learn this new platform and develop comprehensive dashboards. I would say I am at a much higher level of skill, confidence, and understanding than when the program began. I did not expect to have to input and export so much data for my project. In the beginning, it seemed a bit overwhelming. However, I overcame it by managing my time well and taking needed breaks.
The internship allowed me to see the corporate world and how we should carry ourselves to be successful. I think this internship provides college students with valuable experience in different fields while also immersing them in a lively, welcoming environment.
I would recommend LexisNexis Risk Solutions to my peers. This organization has given me a valuable opportunity to find my career path and surrounded me with great people to connect with and learn from.”
